Our Anchor Bolt Sets are made of heavy duty zinc plated steel or stainless steel and are ideal for pedestal mounted installations in freshly poured concrete. Insert L bolt side directly into fresh concrete and after drying process is complete, tighten pedestal to exposed threads and tighten down with nuts and washer. Every pedestal mounting kit includes four .5”Wx8”H anchor (j) bolts, washers, and nuts. This kit can be used with all of our commercial bolt mounted posts and pedestals which include CBU’s, Regency CBU’s 4 Pedestal mailboxes, Pedestal Collection Boxes, Pedestal Drop Boxes, Mail Chests, Mail Package Drops, POL’s, and Universal Pedestals. These L Anchor Bolts can also be used to anchor construction supports like structural steel columns, light poles, highway signs, heavy equipment, bridge rails, equipment and many other applications. The bolts are threaded on the top portion which allows light poles, steel columns or other structures to be fastened to them. The bottom bent portion or hook serves to create resistance so that the bolt does not pull out of the concrete foundation when force is applied. Use for Wet Freshly Poured Concrete Only
